Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while ensuring that all areas are kept clean and well-maintained throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- English speaking and works well with others
- Needs to know how to run an_ auto scrubber or at least be trained_
- Must be discreet and ethical as there are expensive items in the site
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces as needed.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working condition.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as required to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor the cleanliness of high-traffic areas and respond promptly to any spills or messes.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from staff or visitors regarding facility cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with staff and visitors professionally.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
