Data Analyst – Product Strategy

Role Overview
We're looking for a data analyst who can bridge technical analysis with business impact. In this role, you’ll work with large data sets, financial models, and visualization tools to support key decisions related to product strategy, profitability, and market positioning.
Top Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or business intelligence
- Proficiency in Python, R , or similar languages for statistical analysis and modeling
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets
- Experience building financial models and using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings like ROI, profitability, and performance insights
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze raw data on product usage, earnings, and operational diagnostics to uncover trends and support strategic decisions
- Develop and maintain predictive models for performance forecasting, cost modeling, and ROI assessments
- Create financial models to evaluate product economics and inform pricing, budgeting, and investment strategies
- Build dashboards and visualizations that present actionable insights to stakeholders
- Support grant applications and funding proposals with data-backed justifications and competitive analysis
- Identify operational inefficiencies through data anomaly detection
- Stay informed about emerging industry standards and recommend improvements in data collection and utilization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computational Finance, or a related field
- Strong command of data analytics tools and languages (SQL, Python, R)
- Ability to translate technical findings into strategic business recommendations
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
- Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to energy storage, EV charging, or clean-tech industries
- Understanding of government funding, grants, or impact investing processes
- Experience supporting business proposals with data-driven content
