Position: Customer Service Representative (LTL Division)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Customer Service Representative (LTL Division) who will interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns & requests. This role reports to the Office Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire CS process to ensure all shipments are complete and meet deadlines.
EXPERIENCE IN A CSR ROLE IN AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT IS MANDATORY
Responsibilities:
§ Create freightbills
§ Process orders, forms, applications and requests
§ Update forms & reports
§ Manage customers' accounts
§ Obtain, evaluate and handle all relevant information to resolve inquiries and complaints promptly
§ Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
§ Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
§ Follow up on customer interactions
§ Answering telephone
§ Willing to work occasional extended hours as required
- Other duties as required
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
- Grade 12 graduation
- 1 year experience working in an office environment
- Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience AND Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Good analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Hours and Location:
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 15:30
- Terminal Location: Kamloops, BC
Remuneration:
$44,000 - $48,000 per year based on experience
