Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service & Garment Operations Associate to join our team at Platis Cleaners. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from drop-off to pick-up. You will assist customers at the front counter, tag and sort garments, and process invoices using our dry cleaning software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the front counter in a friendly, professional manner
- Receive, tag, and organize clothing items for cleaning
- Input customer orders and process invoices using our dry cleaning software
- Answer phone inquiries and provide information about services, pricing, and order status
- Ensure all items are properly sorted and prepared for cleaning or pickup
- Address customer concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using point-of-sale or order management systems
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Previous experience or knowledge of the dry cleaning industry is beneficial but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
