Reporting to the Supervisor of Custodial Services, the Part time Custodian/Caretaker/Cleaner will provide janitorial services to ensure a safe, clean, and sanitary environment atmosphere for staff and the public. The duties of this position include but are not limited to cleaning the washrooms, showers, dressing rooms and public areas: vacuuming all carpeted areas and wet/dry mop all hard floors and assisting in clearing snow, sand or debris off of the entrance area. The hours of work are scheduled in advanced and can include evenings, days, weekends and holiday shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must have the ability and skills to perform the duties listed above in a reasonable period of time
- Excellent safe working habits
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb stairs for working in the stands
- As a condition of employment, applicants must submit a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (dated within the past 3 months) from their local police service for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment
- A current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification is required prior to commencing employment
WAGE/SALARY RANGE: $19.91 to $22.61 per hour (up to 24 hours per week).
