The opportunity:

The incumbent of this position is responsible for liaising with the Ongomiizwin Project Manager, Ongomiizwin Executive Director, RFHS Vice Dean of Indigenous Health, Anti-Racism and Social Justice, and the Indigenous Cultural Safety Lead Facilitator and Mentors regarding the Indigenous Cultural Safety training. Additionally, the incumbent will also be responsible for liaising with Shared Health’s Indigenous Health Lead, Shared Health IT support for the program and other Shared Health leadership and staff as required for their position.

This role is responsible for coordinating the administrative operations of the "We Will Take Good Care of the People" training program within the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences (RFHS) and the Manitoba health system through Shared Health and the SDOs. The incumbent ensures smooth scheduling, registration, and implementation of training initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders across multiple organizations. They maintain learning management systems registrations, track enrollment and completion data, and coordinate logistics for workshops and training sessions. Additionally, they support annual accreditation, manage travel and supply logistics, and assist in budget recommendations. The position also involves drafting and maintaining procedures, records, and manuals, and providing support to the Director of Anti-Racism on relevant initiatives. This position requires a strong organizational skillset, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, and the initiative to drive the training program's success.
