Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of knuckle boom crane trucks to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites or in industrial settings. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate crane trucks safely and efficiently to lift and transport materials.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew members to coordinate lifting operations.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and rigging equipment as needed.
- Assist in building rigging setups for various loads, ensuring proper balance and security.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights and equipment usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator with a valid certification or license.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety practices in lifting operations.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
