JOB BRIEF
As a Counter/Warehouse Associate based in Burnaby, you will be responsible for completing the order process while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of warehouse experience and has a strong track record of achieving department goals. You are an independent, detail-oriented person that takes great pride in accuracy and maintaining an organized workplace. We are looking for someone who believes in heroic customer service and making positive contributions through incremental changes to the way we conduct business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Select orders for electrical parts and products, check for accuracy and pack for shipment.
- Process and prepare paperwork for shipping including bills of lading, shipping invoices and freight costs
- Receive and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments; correctly enter incoming inventory into the Warehouse management system
- Process returns following established procedures and re-enter into a computerized inventory system
- Participate in regular cycle counts and annual inventory
- Directly service customers via counter (in-person), phone & email daily
- Process orders, inquiries & quotations daily
- Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of warehouse experience
- Good mathematical and data entry skills
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams), Slack
- Forklift experience
- Electrical distribution/product knowledge is an asset
- Comfortable lifting weights up to 60 lbs
- Clean criminal background check
