Pho 54 is hiring full time cooks. Pho 54 is a Vietnamese restaurant located in downtown Campbell River. We stride to provide our customer great food and an outstanding experience each time they visit.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food to our customers while ensuring it is prepared and handled in accordance with food safe and quality standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner, maintaining a positive dining atmosphere.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring as required for various menu items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
Experiences:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal preparation processes is highly desirable.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen are important traits for success in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
