As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position also involves serving customers, taking orders and handling payments. Experience required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in meal planning and inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all cooking equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
- Greeting customers, taking orders and payments
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or catering environments, is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy great meals is highly valued.
