We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in meal preparation and food handling. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards of excellence. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in meal preparation and ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
• Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input for new dishes.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not mandatory.
