Oxy Pub, a well-established and vibrant local pub in Nanaimo, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. We pride ourselves on serving great food, cold drinks, and a warm atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
Position: Cook
Location: Oxy Pub, Nanaimo, BC
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible Hours Available)
Wage: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of pub-style dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with inventory and stock rotation
Work collaboratively with front and back of house staff
Requirements:
Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Food Safe certification is an asset
