We are a busy restaurant currently seeking a full-time Cook to join our team. This is an LMIA-approved position with a valid 2 year LMIA expiring at the end of July 2025. We are urgently hiring and looking for qualified candidates who are already in Canada and able to start work as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes as per our menu
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas, following proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and management for smooth operations
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience (in a restaurant setting preferred)
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
Language:
- English (basic communication level required)
Work Conditions:
- Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
- Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure
