Our St. John’s office has an opening for a Site Representative to join their team on a contractual basis. The position would start May 2025 with an end date of December 2025.
Duties:
- Communicate with RVA’s Contract Administrator and the contractor’s site representatives.
- Set up and facilitate project meetings.
- Prepare meeting notes and project memorandums.
- Review and process contract extra work claims.
- Prepare and process monthly progress estimates.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and the public as required.
- Undertake full time site inspection duties.
- Adhere to all site safety requirements and regulations.
- Civil Tech diploma or an undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience working with sewage treatment facilities, pumping stations, and/or infrastructure is a strong asset.
- Must have a valid class G driver’s license.
- Must possess own vehicle for transportation between office and assigned worksite.
- Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Familiar with the City of St. John’s Specifications Book.
- Familiar with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Municipal Water, Sewer and Roads Master Construction Specifications
