Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Duties
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and documentation.
- Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and schedules while maintaining accurate records of expenses.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets established standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction project management or a related field.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Excellent budgeting skills with a keen eye for financial management in construction projects.
- Ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
