First avenue is a growing real estate developer/property manager of an existing portfolio in the GTA consisting of commercial and residential properties. We are currently seeking a construction foreman who is experienced, hands-on and dependable to oversee work on new projects as well as address deficiencies and repairs on existing properties. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to run a site but isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Responsibilities:
-supervise and coordinate daily tasks for construction crews and contractors
- able to assess maintenance issues on existing buildings(ie leaks, damage and wear and tear)
-perform quality control checks and maintain construction standards
- organizational skills
