Fire Sprinkler Apprentice - Construction Department - Experience Preferred
Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Fire Sprinkler Apprentices to join our construction department. The ideal candidate will have or gain experience installing sprinkler systems to completion, coordinating with other trades, material management, This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and handle material.
- Install overhead pipe, including steel & CPVC piping, wet, dry, standpipe and hose systems
- Learn the lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
- Completion and safety paperwork, etc. as required
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to maintain high standards of service.
- Maintain awareness to safety programs and follow safety guidelines.
- Adhere to and maintain knowledge of current code requirements.
Qualifications:
- Fire sprinkler installation experience an Asset
- Valid Drivers License
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a team and manage time effectively
- Ability to communicate and understand direction
- Fall protection, aerial lift and first aid training are an asset

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
