Position Summary
CIMCO is looking for a Construction Coordinator to support our Atlantic Region.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate industrial/recreational refrigeration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Support the Project's team in organizing and maintaining project workflows.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and close-out packages.
- Track project progress, identify potential delays, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Attend site meetings and visits to understand project requirements and monitor progress.
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining subcontractor documentation (e.g., agreements, insurance, safety clearance).
- Maintain a weekly manpower schedule in collaboration with Superintendent and Project team.
- Track billing and financials for ongoing projects and support budgeting and cost control efforts.
- Facilitate onboarding and integration of new team members within the Construction department.
- Ensure accurate data entry and tracking in internal project management software.
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in a project coordination or similar role.
- Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
