Reporting to the foreman, our Construction Cleaner must ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Your key duties will include:
Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial vacuums and heavy-duty cleaning tools
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, stairs, hallways and other surfaces
- Clean windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and common postconstruction dirt
- Remove and dispose of construction debris and waste
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and common areas
- Perform safety and site clean up, such as clearing walkways, removing nails or sharp objects, and following hazard trapping protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading supplies or equipment and site preparation tasks
- Support the growth and development of company culture.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Previous cleaning experience, especially in construction, industrial or post construction settings
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, lift, handle materials, and perform repetitive motions under varying conditions
