We’re looking for a skilled and driven Baseband Node Integration & Verification Engineer to join our dynamic Radio Verification team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the integration and verification of multi-standard radio systems (2G to 5G), ensuring seamless performance across global networks. You’ll collaborate with cross-site teams, work hands-on in lab environments, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, next-generation radio solutions.
Your role
· Lead Baseband Node-level integration and verification activities for multi-standard radios (5G NR, 4G LTE, 3G WCDMA, 2G GSM).
· Coordinate Node Integration efforts at the Ottawa site, collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.
· Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and verification strategies for physical layer and RF validation.
· Document test procedures, results, and integration workflows in a clear and structured manner.
· Maintain and enhance the hardware development lab environment, ensuring readiness for testing and validation.
· Contribute to the success of the Radio Verification team by sharing knowledge, solving problems, and driving innovation.
Your skills and experience
· 3–5 years of experience in 3GPP physical layer verification and/or conformance testing.
· Hands-on experience with Moshell, Netconf, and LAZY CVs for node configuration and mapping.
· Strong understanding of Test Models (TMs), Test Vectors, and their application in Node Integration.
· Familiarity with Baseband DU (Digital Unit), eNode-B/eNode-G, and Cloud RAN network setups.
· Experience with RF verification, antenna pattern testing, and test equipment is a strong asset.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and work independently or in a team.
· Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
