Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, focusing on concrete work. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices. The Concrete Form Setter will be responsible for assisting in the installation, renovation, and finishing of concrete structures while collaborating with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Build and layout forms as required, according to plans and specifications with the ability to make calculations depending on grades.
- Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including foundations, slabs, and sidewalks.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces and proper curing.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for transporting materials.
- Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete.
- Engage in flooring installation and drywall work as part of renovation projects.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in concrete structures for durability.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality standards.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
