Concrete Foreman
Firma Concrete is a concrete contractor currently working on commercial and residential projects located in Edmonton and area. We are working on some high profile contracts in within Edmonton and are looking for some talented folks to work with us. Responsibilities:
- Quality management – working with project management and consultant teams to ensure that workmanship meets / exceeds specifications
- Health and safety management including hazard identification and analysis, worker competencies and HSE reporting
- Schedule management – ensure project timelines are maintained
- Provide supervision on site and daily direction to crew
- Delegation of tasks for all crew members
- Site maintenance – management of site housekeeping in accordance with client and company guidelines
- Lead inspections and incidents - address deficiencies / issues through corrective actions
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity
- Additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial concrete experience
- Strong time management skills – able to keep crews to task and maintain an established work schedule to complete the projects in a timely fashion
- Organized and able to complete regular project documentation
- Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent
- Able to support other positions as needed
- Strong communication skills – able to delegate and provide instructions clearly with sufficient detail
- Proven leadership capabilities and able to mentor workers for advancement
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
Certifications Needed:
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Ground Disturbance Level 2
- Standard First Aid
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
