Like WCG you believe in the power of work. As a Community Investment Fund Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping equitable employment outcomes across Ontario. This position is responsible for coordinating the implementation and management of the Community Investment Fund (CIF) within the Employment Ontario (EO) framework.
The Coordinator ensures agile, transparent, and data-informed deployment of funds to support community-driven employment interventions for Ontario Works (OW) and Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) clients. Acting as a strategic liaison between EO providers, community stakeholders, and governance bodies, the role supports impactful and inclusive program delivery aligned with labour market intelligence and evolving client needs.
What you'll do
- Coordinate the end-to-end CIF submission process, including intake, review coordination, documentation, and communication of decisions
- Support the CIF Decision-Making Panel by preparing materials, tracking interventions, and ensuring compliance with governance protocols
- Monitor and track allocated funds by intervention category and provider to ensure budget integrity and transparency
- Facilitate the establishment and ongoing coordination of Community Partnership Advisory Boards across regions to strengthen collaboration and community input
- Lead provider forums and outreach events (e.g., orientation sessions, coffee mornings, employer roundtables) to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Assist in onboarding new service delivery partners by guiding them through due diligence, compliance documentation, and contract execution
- Track performance outcomes including employment rates, participant satisfaction, and ROI across funded interventions
- Produce CIF newsletters showcasing success stories, upcoming opportunities, and key learnings
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for CIF initiatives to ensure timely and successful delivery of programs and events
- Support financial tracking, reporting, and reconciliation of CIF funds
Qualifications
What you bring
- Post-secondary education in Public Administration, Social Services, Community Development, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, fund management
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including social assistance recipients
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to build partnerships across diverse stakeholders and communities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Preferred Criteria
- Familiarity with public procurement processes and compliance standards.
- Experience working in data-driven environments using Labour Market Information to shape service delivery.
- Bilingualism (English/French or other community languages).
- Strong knowledge of Employment Ontario and/or OW/ODSP frameworks preferred
