North Rock Truck & Tire is a full-service automotive repair facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario. We provide vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and a full range of repair services.
North Rock is one of Thunder Bay’s leading tire suppliers. We are an authorized Michelin dealer and carry a large selection of BF Goodrich and Uniroyal Tires. We also stock many other tire brands you know and trust, such as Bridgestone and Firestone tires.
North Rock also specializes in commercial, OTR, agricultural and industrial tires. We operate a service truck and boom truck to inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair at commercial locations or service calls on the side of the road.

Responsibilities:
Interact with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and commercial customer service specific requirements.
- Inspect, install, balance, rotate and repair truck, farm, industrial and OTR tires in the shop, at commercial customer locations and road-side locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Accurately complete all documentation/paperwork in relation to service work and work orders.
- Ensure service vehicle, shop, and all equipment is maintained in a safe, neat and clean manner at all times.
- Professionally interact and communicate with commercial customers.
- At times, assist Passenger Light Truck Tire Technicians, as required.
Requirements
- We are looking for candidates who have at least 3 years of experience with farm/agricultural/commercial tires
- The ideal candidate should be certified for commercial tires
- Service Truck and/or Boom Truck experience an asset
- Ability to drive automatic and standard transmissions vehicles
- A team player willing to take on any tire or any task
- A valid driver's license is a must.
This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy and physically demanding, so we need someone who will be up for whatever the day throws at you!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
