Commercial Coordinator - 12 Month Contract
The UMC team works four days a week from our award-winning creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto, and one day to work virtually.
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, this role will provide support to the Commerce department and will contribute to a positive work environment with an emphasis on a ‘team’ concept. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, creative and energetic individual with a passion for music.
How You’ll Lead
- Support multiple account teams across Commerce and Bravado in executing all aspects of the department’s day to day initiatives as well as occasional support to the D2C and Label Partnerships teams when needed
- Retail marketing support including creating advertising campaign buys, ad campaign logistics, gathering assets, special event planning
- Administrative duties such as processing invoices, maintaining distro lists + procedural documents, vendor payments, sales reporting, rebate file processing, account executive travel and more
- Generate account analysis, weekly reporting, and program results
- Assist with licensing submissions, approvals, and royalty reporting
- Assist with marketing and sales materials
- Interpret and consolidate sales data from reporting systems
- Facilitate various marketing/promo events and pop-up shops which can occur outside of regular work hours
- Assist with various special projects
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in music, media and/or entertainment
- Exceptional ability to multi-task and prioritize many on-going projects
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow through
- Extremely organized with superior time management skills
- Motivated individual and a self-starter
- General understanding of physical retail landscape
- Ability to problem solve and react in time-sensitive situations
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability work and think clearly in a loud environment
