Education Required: BSc. in Chemistry or any scientific/ engineering discipline, or a minimum of a 2 year Technician/ Technology Diploma and two years experience in a commercial laboratory, or a 3-year Technician/ Technology Diploma and one year experience in a commercial laboratory.

Responsibilities:
- Perform and record daily check-weigh prior to weighing samples and standards
- Use the Win wedge application, to transfer the weights from the balance to the weigh file
- Weigh Calibration Standards
- Analyze samples using Eltra Analyzer instruments
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on Eltra Analyzer instruments
- Perform general laboratory procedures in a safe manner
- Ensure all tasks are performed with high quality and accuracy
- Assist in ensuring turnaround time meets due dates, by working overtime when required/ authorized
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are put away in an appropriate storage space after use
- Maintain housekeeping of Combustion Process
- Maintain stock of consumables
- Comply with ALL safety procedures including handling of all chemicals as per their MSDS
- Documentation of all training at the time of training
- Any other tasks as determined by Lab Manager/Process Owner of Combustion
Shift: 7am-3pm
