CNC Operator Job Description
Job Summary
We are a growing Aluminum Composite Panel and Drywall Steel Stud Manufacturer located in Concord, ON. We are seeking a skilled CNC and Roll Forming Machines Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC and Roll Forming machines and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications. The Operator will be required to have experience in Aluminum Composite Panel assembly.
Responsibilities
- CNC Operator must have experience in Aluminum Composite Panel assembly.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
- Set up and operate Roll Forming Machines to produce drywall steel framing components such us metal studs, tracks, corner beads, slotted tracks, z-girts, and metal flashings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize CAD software for programming and design modifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks using basic math skills and measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc controls and familiarity with various hand tools.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, including welding and basic machining techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurement and calculations related to production tasks.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
