Converging Currents Counselling is looking for an in-person Counsellor to join our growing team. This is an independent contractor position.

Position Details
- Type: Independent Contractor (Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, or Casual)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality counselling to clients.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and group supervision.
- Maintain strong ethical boundaries and a professional demeanor.
- Write clear and comprehensive reports and correspondence.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, or Clinical Psychology.
- Licensure: RSW, RCC, CCC registration in good standing.
- Training: EMDR certification a plus.
- Insurance: Must have liability insurance.
- Experience: Prior experience working as a counsellor.
- Skills: Empathy, kindness, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Availability for evening and weekend hours.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience.
- Training in Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, EFT/EFCT/EFIT/EFFT, Play Therapy, or other relevant modalities.
- Experience working with children aged 4+ and their families.
