Clinical Assistant
Montebello Medical Centre is a fast paced family practice holding seven Physician's in office. We are seeking a permanent Clinical Assistant to work along side our full-time Clinical and Administrative Assistants. Hours may vary depending on the clinic needs. Must be available Monday - Friday.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Administration or related filed is an asset
- 1-2 years of experience as a Clinical Assistant or in a related field is preferred
- EMR and billing knowledge is preferred
- Ability to multitask is a must
- Must be able to stand and / or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, bend, and / or twist with 20 lbs
Responsibilities
- Open and close office as required
- Ensure all exam rooms are clean, tidy and stocked
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Check and record vitals
- Set up and clean up for biopsies, sutures removal and paps
- Print day sheets and chase results for the following week
- Administer, document, and bill for injections and ear syringes
- Prepare and send specimens i.e. urine, various swabs, stool O&P

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Medical Assistants: 1 year (preferred)
