Bureau Veritas is looking for a: Project Manager Assistant (CET)
Your main responsibilities are:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service
- Act as a key liaison between clients, laboratory teams, and internal departments
- Ensure client satisfaction and service quality through proactive communication and coordination
- Respond to client inquiries via phone or email and redirect to CET members when needed
- Process client orders and schedule internal courier services
- Coordinate client/internal deadline changes with lab operations
- Manage job file information and ensure compliance with regulatory or client-specific requirements
- Handle service issues such as rush turnaround times, cancellations, or toggle requests
- Support project managers when cross-trained, and assist with various reporting tools (QSI, CRM)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laboratory methods and internal procedures
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and QA/QC policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Profile Sought:
- University degree or College diploma (preferably in Chemistry or Environmental Science) or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in customer service or laboratory operations
- Basic knowledge of chemistry, particularly in a laboratory context
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Strong time-management, multitasking, and organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
- Demonstrates professionalism, motivation, and accountability
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with regular interaction in a laboratory setting
- May require flexible hours, overtime, or shift work
- Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Occasional exposure to hazardous materials in lab areas
