Summary
We are seeking a Driver to join our team at Renewed Family Services. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting individuals with disabilities to various appointments and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit. Your contribution will be vital in supporting our mission of helping individuals reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Transport individuals with disabilities in your own vehicle to appointments, therapy sessions, and community activities within the Peel region and Etobicoke.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, performing routine checks as necessary.
- Assist passengers in entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff regarding transportation needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G license
- 2 million insurance policy at minimum
- Experience in driving for social services or similar fields is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an asset.
Salary
$30.00 per ride (ride is considered one way)
