Customer Support Representative

Embrun Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time Client Care team member, cross-trained as a Veterinary Assistant. The ideal candidate would be ready for a fast paced, fun, and exciting position working with people and animals. Excellent communication, stress management skills, good attention to detail, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills a must. French and English speaking is a must.

An average day:

- Managing a busy reception area and offering pleasant, welcoming service to all clients.

- Booking appointments and keeping track of the daily schedule.

-Complete worklist tasks daily, assisting veterinarians with tasks as needed.

- Communicating with clients in person, over the phone and through email, in a professional and compassionate way.

- Greeting and checking in clients, ensuring their reason for visit is correct.

-Ensuring client information is accurate.

-Respond to client inquiries, gather information and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

-Maintain accurate notes and records from client interactions.

- Taking food and medication refill requests.

- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

- Invoicing, collecting payments using a debit/credit machine, discussing delicate financial situations.

- Making follow up calls/emails to clients.

- Various administrative duties such as scanning and filing, as well as preparing cards for pet owners.

- Restrain cats and dogs to assist the veterinarian or technician in treatments and medical procedures

- Gather a history and information for each appointment for the veterinarian to start appointments.

- Other duties as required by Practice Manager, Veterinarians, or other team members.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in customer support or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
