Cornwallis Veterinarians Ltd. is currently seeking a part-time Client Care Representative to work at the reception desk of our Kentville location. Cornwallis Vets is a very busy clinic, focused on the health and well-being of both small and large animals. We require an organized, customer focused, efficient task manager with good problem solving skills. This position is for someone who is motivated and can work independently, but thrives on working as part of a cohesive team. Flexibility is a must as this position will include both daytime, evening and Saturday shifts.
Our Client Care Representatives greet our clients and patients, answer animal health questions, book appointments, dispense medications, finish the billing process, assist in inventory management and handle and balance the cash. Previous experience is preferred, however training will be provided. Applicants should be reliable, mature, professional and compassionate. Some duties require a certain amount of physical strength.
This position is available immediately for approximately 24-32 hours per week expected once the training period ceases.
