Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct commercial and vacation cleaning activities in various settings, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by identifying areas that require repairs or attention.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered during duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests or concerns from facility occupants in a professional manner.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability between 10am-8pm preferred
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Reliable transportation (own vehicle preferred) to travel between properties
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods during work shifts.
- A proactive approach to cleanliness and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
