Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, along with effective communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Provide custodial support during events or high-traffic periods, ensuring cleanliness is maintained.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs and facility conditions.
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Lift heavy objects as required during cleaning and maintenance activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and custodial services is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for clear interaction with team members and supervisors.
