Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor within commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. A vehicle is also required.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or scraping as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks as required.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as necessary during projects.
- Communicate with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring client satisfaction with completed work.
Experience
- Previous experience in painting or labor-intensive roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.

Pay: $16.47-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
