CLEANING PERSONNEL JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Working collaboratively with fellow site staff and contractors, Cleaning Personnel is responsible for diligently cleaning and maintaining all areas of the worksite. This includes common areas (lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, bathrooms, amenity areas, staff areas, parking garages, mechanical rooms, garbage rooms/chute closets), outdoor areas (entrances, walkways, lawns, amenity areas, parking spaces), appliance, equipment, and suites.
Types of work include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing. This is not a comprehensive list and assigned tasks may change from time to time. Success in the position will be gauged by site upkeep as gauged by the Property Manager and customers. A person who takes pride in their work is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carrying out routine inspections of the worksite
- Assessing the premises condition and prioritizing cleaning tasks
- Promptly carrying out cleaning and sanitizing tasks
- Assisting with garbage collection and waste removal
- Reporting worksite conditions/making recommendations to the Property Manager
- Monitoring cleaning/safety supplies and communicating to the Property Manager
- Monitoring for and reporting safety issues
- Professional and courteous interactions with tenants and residents
- Participate in and assist in the coordination of community events/initiatives
- Other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager and Cleaning Supervisor

DELIVERABLES & PERFORMANCE METRICS:
- General site upkeep and cleanliness
- Adherence to daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules
- Turnaround time on cleaning assignments
- Tenant satisfaction and retention levels

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool diploma, GED equivalent, or similar
- Experience and knowhow in the safe use of cleaning suppliers
- The ability understand verbal and written instructions
- A strong work ethic combined with a high level of enthusiasm, attention-to-detail, reliability, and dedication

Pay: $40,040.00 per year
