Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our dynamic team at A Paul's Trucking. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for reliability and efficiency in the freight transport industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules.
- Comply with any other requirements.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class 3) with air brakes is required.
- Proven experience in flat deck driving.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in driving.
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment is an asset.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
- Must be fluent in English.
