Job Description:
We are currently looking for qualified Class1 Truck Drivers responsible for delivering freight (reefers) safely and efficiently to customers in Alberta, BC , Washington and Oregon based out of our Calgary & Langley terminal.
Requirements:
- Minimum 23 years of age
- Clear abstract and clean safety record
- Must Have Reefer experience
- At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience (Cross Border Experience, Mountain Experience
- Team must have been working together for at least 3 continuous months
- New model Tractor 2018 or newer
- Knowledge of hours of service and axle weights
- Follow written and oral instructions in English, complete written forms and documents in English
- Valid Class 1 Commercial DL without restrictions
- Physically fit and able to perform the required vehicle trip inspections
- Able to travel to and from the USA
- Have a clean criminal background check
Duties / Expectations:
- Hooking/unhooking trailers
- Live picks and drops
- Adhere to all safety standards including thorough pre/post-trip inspections
- Proper use of Electronic Logs
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain professional-looking equipment
- Have a positive attitude and good personal hygiene
