Cross Wind Farm is a small business in Keene, ON K0L 2G0. We are producers of award winning goat cheeses.
This position is ideal for someone whom has experience in food prep and wants to transition to a small manufacturing setting. This position is very hands on and does demand more physical attention than use of machines.
- Ability to operate small equipment in a food industry setting
- Package finished products according to company standards
- Perform quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Experience:
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the willingness to follow safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
Please note that this is a physically demanding role that may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
