We are looking for someone to take on a Checker position and join our team.
Your role: Create eye-catching results
Job Description:
- Receive production orders and job assignments from supervisor.
- Check jobs instructions on dockets, verify processes were followed during production.
- Ensure quality checks of products before packaging, verify against sample and blueprint.
- Package parts according to instructions, print labels accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Follow company health and safety policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graphic Arts background (an asset)
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Printing industry experience considered
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to resolve problems involving variables in standard situations
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
