QUALIFICATIONS
- PHO IPAC certification, CPR - BLS certification for Healthcare Provider, HARP Certification
- CDA Level II certification / diploma
- 2 + years experience working as a CDA Level II
- Periodontal dental knowledge and four handed dentistry experience is key
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Excellent time management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent chair side manner with patients
- Able to reliably commute; excellent attendance and punctuality
- Self-directed and autonomous; provides leadership within clinical team
- Excellent record keeping skills, documentation skills, and attention to detail
- Organized, efficient, multi-tasker, maintains a tidy work space in a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in taking XRAYS, and good understanding of dental terminology and instrumentation
This is apermanent part time position on Mondays and Thursdays with our associate periodontist from 8am to 4pm in our Kitchener location. Occasional opportunity to work more days or cover for vacation / illness.
