Beam Orthodontics in Penticton, BC, is seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients in the specialized field of orthodontics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the necessary qualifications to contribute directly to patient care and treatment, supporting the orthodontic journey from start to finish.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the application, adjustment, and removal of orthodontic appliances under the direction of Dr. Paxon.
- Support the fitting and maintenance of braces, retainers, and other orthodontic devices.
- Prepare and manage orthodontic tools and materials for patient treatments, ensuring they are organized and sterile.
- Provide direct assistance during orthodontic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and maintaining efficiency throughout the treatment process.
- Educate patients on proper care for their braces and orthodontic appliances, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene for the success of their treatment.
- Monitor and update patient records, tracking progress and ensuring treatments are documented and organized.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant is required, along with the Orthodontic Module.
- A genuine interest in orthodontics and a willingness to work together as a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities, with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, team-oriented clinical setting.
