Responsibilities:
- Report to the Central Fill Manager and work under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Perform dispensing functions in compliance with provincial regulations and company standards, including assembling prescription medications, counting, labeling, and compounding prescriptions
- Prepare compliance packaging for LTC homes and operate automated packaging equipment
- Manage inventory, ordering, processing, and receiving materials to ensure production efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional workplace, and check packaging before delivery
- Conduct quality checks, identify production issues, and propose continuous improvement methods
- Ensure timely and accurate production processes, prepare production reports, and requisition supplies as needed
- Operate machinery aligned with the computer system and provide strategic solutions to meet production objectives
- Perform miscellaneous tasks to support the Store Operator, Pharmacist, and central fill operations
- Preference for candidates with previous experience in a pharmacy or production facility, including Pharmacy Assistant and Kroll experience
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional image, grooming, and a positive attitude with effective communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and image while meeting the requirements of the role
- Successful candidates must complete a Criminal Record Check due to the sensitive nature of the position
- 40 hours per week.
- The regular schedule for this position will be Wednesday to Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
