Overview
We are an independent dental office seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team in Langley. This position is partime, every Tuesday, alternate Saturdays, and 1-2 Fridays permonth.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures including endo , crown and bridge and restorative dentisty. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.You must be professional, confident and have great communication skills.
Itero and Cleardent kmowledge is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform routine tasks such as sterilizing instruments, preparing treatment rooms, and managing inventory of dental supplies.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth operation of the clinic.
- Stay updated on dental technology and procedures to provide the best care possible.
Requirements
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is required.
- Experience with iTero is preferred
- Knowledge of Cleardent being advantageous.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
