Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier/Pretzel Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a background in the food industry. Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including baking, cooking, and packaging items for sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and surrounding workspace.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Support cake decorating efforts as needed, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and product availability.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Experience in baking is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
