Responsibilities and Duties
- Process sales transactions, in person, by phone/text
- Process web orders and assist customers with online chat inquiries
- Maintain accurate customer records and accounts
- Create and process orders and prepare deliveries, ensure complete details are captured for customer deliveries
- Work closely with the delivery team to ensure completion of scheduled deliveries
- Create a positive and rewarding customer experience
- Greet all customers with courtesy and respect
- Answer inquiries about products and services
- Assist contractor accounts with project quoting
- Ensure stock inventory available for contractor/customer pickups
- Monitor and maintain stock levels for products in retail space
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Participate and comply with Rocklands Health and Safety program
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Cashier Requirements:
- High School diploma
- 2 years of administrative experience and/or retail sales experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Pleasant phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Skills and Assets
- Landscape product knowledge considered an asset
- Disciplines work ethic and positive attitude
- Basic to moderate math skill an asset
Tickets and Training
- WHMIS certification
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
