Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Seko Construction Vancouver / Permasteel Projects. The Carpenter will contribute to the successful completion of projects by ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Responsibilities
- Must be located in Prince George, BC
- Perform carpentry work including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the layout and construction of structures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
