Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter Helper to join our woodworking team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various tasks related to building, repairing, and maintaining structures. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Carpenter Helper will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop valuable skills that can lead to career advancement.
Duties
- Assist carpenters in sanding, staining ,caulking ,cutting, wood,
- Help with the installation of structures and fixtures such as mantles, shelves and beams.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and tools as required on job sites and tidying up the shop and job site at the end of day.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Some experience in construction ,painting or carpentry.
- Familiarity with some basic hand tools commonly used in carpentry.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when required.
- Experience with staining and or painting is an asset.

Pay: $17.20-$21.58 per hour
