We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food industry, with experience in various aspects of food preparation and service. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training sessions on food safety and kitchen best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Experience with meal preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
